I can’t tell when the stirring began again, but I’m somehow encouraged to find the same theme popping up around the blogosphere – Home.
I suspect Winter raising its head about the northern hemisphere has many residents longing for the comforts associated with home; good company and sufficiency.
While I enjoy reminiscing, I want to take some time to examine the actual concept of Home. To begin this pursuit of my ‘strongest conjuration,’ Today I reflected upon a few literary masters and some fellow bloggers:

The timing on this is interesting as we get ready to list our home for sale and looking at places that better suit our needs and desires as we enter a different stage of life. We’ve spent much time talking about what matters in a home, the most important being nature and quiet. Seems we’ve tired of living in town for the convenience of it. Ready to move into a more modest dwelling with more space on the outside.

I love how you paid homage to some of the greats (as well as little ol’ me). I suspect you’re correct; we’re right at the threshold of Winter, and it tends to gently nudge us toward home.
