Router

So, for weeks my scant three-year-old laptop has challenged me (above and beyond security settings that block many WordPress cookies) – or so I thought. Turns out I have a defective router that’s been disrupting not only the phones, cells but the WiFi. …annnd tech support can’t swap it out for two more days.

*Sigh* At least today I can enjoy a sense of humor about it all.

I need a walk!

  1. If it’s any consolation, my 5.5-year-old laptop is worse.

  2. Good for you for identifying the problem. I know enough about computers to be dangerous. I am pretty good at troubleshooting and try to resolve the problems myself. I have 3 computers so if one acts up, I have a backup.

  3. It would take me a while to work my way to a defective router. There are so many more common problems. Kudos to you for finding that.

    • Yeah, Jacqui – while Quinn was out of town it took me forever to narrow it down and then as a last resort calling my IS Provider. Who knew?! Arrrgh! Film at 11… 😀

  4. I know just enough about computers to get me in trouble and fortunately I’m patient enough to find a way out of trouble. Having said that, computer technology drives me crazy while at the same time it gives me great comfort. My router was an issue this morning.
