After a 28 hour turn-around for Cole I’m home. In my own cottage on my brother-from-another-mother‘s ranch.
No internet in my cottage yet, no TV or even radio and I have a whopping 2G cell service – when I visit the livestock. It’s really not all that bad… Today. While I’m still buried in boxes.
Once I unpack and set up I’ll shop for better options. For now I’ll take my time and catch up with me after this hard, 3-year run.
Try to not miss me too much for the next week. ❤
You’ll soon be settled and up and running smoothly 🙂

It’s been eight days, Jacqueline. We got the wood-burning stove tuned up today. Aside from a little tweaking, I’m all settled in. ❤

Thank you, sweet Sister. I’m so glad to be home, I’m bursting with stories. Our next challenge is to improve communications (cell and internet). The livestock like my company while I talk on the phone from the pasture (they naturally assume I’m talking to them), but the cows tend to drown me out talking back! Texting and loading images is a major challenge so far. It’s very good to see your lovely face this morning!

I’m unpacked but still looking for a few odds & ends, Lisa. Taking it easy for a couple more days. Still gonna be cyber-challenged for a few more weeks. I decided I can live without TV, but thank God for radio 😉

Completely agree, I can easily live without the tv – it’s on permanently in our house almost as background noise – drives me mad – give me music any day! 😁 x

Right? I like the news better without the media’s images flashing around. The radio and imagination are much better.

Moved again or just visiting? I feel like I missed a whole chunk of something.

Things fell together rather fast for me. I’ve moved home for good, once and for all.

So glad you made it. In truth, the lack of Internet and TV and radio sounds a bit like heaven. 🙂

Thanks, Anne. I filled a few data sticks with photos & will share once I figure out the new (old school) systems.
