Mondays usually arrive too early for my liking and stepping into the new work week often presents more challenges than I prefer. This seems especially so as winter winds out.
Today I changed my routine and stepped outside as soon as I could pull on my boots. Gazing over the bulb bed, marveling at the changes since Friday, I envisioned the bulb roots digging in deep.
As I sipped my latte, I too felt a strong, sure, quiet strength settling into my soul. Life regenerated. Once again I can happily, patiently wait on spring.
“I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it…” Ecclesiastes 3:14 (NIV)
It’s lovely to read and see your enthusiasm about Spring. I understand completely your sentiments. From the land down under we are entering our Autumn which in many ways is incredibly ‘liberating’ as very hot days are now changed to mellow warm days and although the Winter to come may bring cold it is never extreme but for the sake of fruit setting ie cherries, etc we need some colder weather. All seasons have their unique blessings when you can value the changing of life around us. Our native trees do not lose leaves but you can see changes in bark structure and textures in everything. Blessings to you.

Monday always comes too early in my honest opinion but we must apply our daily dose of upbeat positivity. I love Springtime.

I didn’t get a good yard clean up in the fall, so I need to remove some old growth before I will see my new spring signs. I can’t do it anymore so I am hopefully of getting a good helper. I haven’t scheduled her yet. Must do so soon.

I’m feeling more hopeful that spring is coming. But we are expecting some snow tonight. Yuk!

That means my grands in Romeoville won’t have much time to chat in the morning. Sad Roo. Stay warm, Dee.

Barely any snow at all, just a dusting. Grands in Romeoville! Practically my neighbors, as I’m in Bolingbrook!
