Finale Redux

As my holiday winds to an end I thank God more than ever for the beauty He’s consistently shown me.  (I hope you too feel a deep, contented sigh where you are too.)

Summer’s Finale, back in September 2016 from Colorado’s Western Slopes:

Today’s walk demanded special attention. I recognized the first signs of autumn – summer’s finale:

  1. Love the pumpkin pic! Yes, I know I shouldn’t rush it, but dang I’m looking forward to this autumn, my first REAL autumn in about 17 years. 🍂

    • I know what you mean, Christi. When my family moved from Phoenix to Los Angeles in September (way back when) the vibrant colors nearly took my breath away. And they pale in comparison to here in the southeastern corner of Washington. Driving home from the airport I spotted lots of yellow already appearing in the trees and our corn stalks are rustic brown already. Yeay!

  2. Welcome fall. A few days late, temperature-wise. Eager to feel the chill of fall. The images make me more eager.

  3. OH Wow! The pics you have of the tree’s leaves turning orange is my tree! LOL! Okay a tree just like my tree. 🙂 I was just outside looking at it and thinking about Fall.
