So, it turns out I don’t bounce like I used to. This week a fall banged me up a bit. God is good – no major damage, just a few stitches and lots of color.
As I rest up and heal, I’m sharing photos from our last road trip for 2018, the drive to Potlatch, ID for a family Christmas celebration.

Thanks for asking, sweet Marquessa. I’m very sore, but on the mend. Ice is good!

Ice is good, on an injured body, not good when slipping on it is the cause of the injury! Mend fast!

Thank you, Anne. On this third day after, healing is already evident. Purples are already turning to green and brown, range of motion very gradually increasing. I imagine I actually needed the rest.

Next time, how about resting before you injure yourself? Silly, I know. You didn’t CHOOSE to have an accident.

Seriously, Anne, too often little hits and near misses must rise before I even realize it’s been a while since I rested. I got this now 😄

I’ll take ’em. I learned how to spot a hug coming and turn into it 😄❤. This whole experience has generated specific, passionate prayer for your family and the rest of my loved ones, so it’s all good.

All kidding aside, no one can figure out why I fell. We’re assured I didn’t faint, but it will be my new favorite mystery while I mend. Thanks!
