The warm weather gave in to more normal winter weather for us this week.

Frolicking in snow is pure joy for GoodGirl. ChihuahuaTwo however is not the least bit amused.
I adore variety.
Count your blessings, friends!
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT)
It will be awhile before we see some green here — I think the snow accumulation must be two feet at least, not counting the drifts! 😀

We were close to that. Five days later, not including plowing, drifts are down to about a foot deep. Keeping the stoves going is actually a welcome workout.

I grew up in it and I don’t miss it or the cold, ice, and warming up of the car-at all!!!

I’m the reverse, grew up in the desert so this is still a novelty for me. 🙂

GA isn’t too bad right now; we have a couple of nice balmy days, then it gets colder, then back to rain and then back to a couple of balmy days-I guess I would rather have this than snow, ice and real cold…..any day! LOL!

Let’s be glad we missed the storms in the east & midwest. One son in the Chicago area reported -55 wind chill a couple of weeks back. I felt kinda glad I left.

Oh yes; I get it……LOL! My family is up there in the frozen chosen areas too; some in AZ though; can’t wait to join them!

I hope the northern delegation isn’t buried in the snow as we are east of the cascades. I’m the only one of my family left here now, but we have roots all over AZ. Hey, maybe we’ll meet up there!

That will be great; we should plan on it!

Hard to imagine the snow, as I sit here in the warm Amazon weather! Sure enjoy the pictures, though 🙂

I dunno, John, Florida sunshine is sounding pretty good right now (snow’s been falling again for 9 hours so far). “Count it all joy” Right?!

The dog sure looks like it’s enjoying the beautiful snow.

She amazes me. She is very well fed, and yet she is so. I cannot imagine how she can be warm enough to love frolicking in the ice and snow, and yet it’s hard to bring her in. Thank you for stopping, dear Jacqueline.

Your snow is very even! Our 6 inches today came with 40 MPH gusts. Scouring some areas clean and piling other deep. Thanks for the pictures!

It fell here for 3 days straight, sideways (in impressive wind) for nearly 24 hours. In the sunlight it looked like pristine, sparkling white sand dunes – till I let the dogs out and Cole started plowing.

I saw your springy plants poking up in the first photo and thought you were getting an early spring. Wrong! Most people don’t agree with me, but I love pictures of snow AND the real stuff. I hope yours won’t cause you too much trouble.

It only sticks around for more than a few days every 10 years here. We have 7 years to go yet. 😉

How funny! Our snow doesn’t stick in NC very long. Snow has disrupted our plans several times, but we do have it easier than when we lived on Long Island.

That could be one reason why some people think we’re crazy for enjoying the snow.💙❄
