I write my stories as God reveals them to me. I suspect the process surprises me more than anyone else since I don’t always know what I’m actually doing. Looking for God’s goodness in all things, He always amazes me. By posting at least twice weekly, I hope to shine some Light and encourage others along (God willing and I have an internet connection).
My perspective is that of a late Boomer, a non-religious Jesus freak, finding contentment being humbly human. Though I’m older now than I thought I would ever be, I am young at heart. Since I’m fortunate that way, I write about being a Daughter, sister, a great grandmother (albeit prematurely), friend, neighbor and all that entails, glorifying God and how He makes it all happen from the South Eastern corner of Washington State, USA.
Relationships have always been my highest priority. Good people have always helped and encouraged me along. I pay that forward any way I can at every opportunity. My other passions are my country, exploring and preserving the great outdoors, animals, sustainable living, gardening (especially growing organic food) and preparing good food. Did I mention my grown kids and my grand kids, life’s greatest blessings?
There’s so much more, too much to mention, so I welcome comments on anything; I might surprise you with an unexpected slant on something. Seriously, I too am learning to navigate a world that’s changing more rapidly than I can keep up with, but experience taught me that by always doing the next right thing, the journey is more satisfying and often joyful.
