I write my stories as God reveals them to me. I suspect the process surprises me more than anyone else since I don’t always know what I’m actually doing.
Looking for God’s goodness in all things, He always reveals Himself. Through this blog I hope to shine some Light and encourage others along (God willing and while I have an internet connection).
My perspective is that of a late Boomer, I’m a Jesus freak but I avoid religious systems. I find contentment being humbly human. Though I’m older now than I thought I would ever be, I am young at heart. I write mostly about being a Daughter, a sister, a great grandmother (albeit prematurely), a friend, a neighbor and all that entails. I do this to glorify God and how He makes it all happen from the South Eastern corner of Washington State, USA.
Relationships have always been my highest priority. God has consistently used good people to help and encourage us along, so I pay that forward any way I can, whenever I can.
My other passions are my family, our country, exploring and preserving the great outdoors, animals, sustainable living, gardening (especially growing organic food) and preparing good food. Did I mention life’s greatest blessings, my grown kids and my grand kids?
There’s so much more, too much to mention, so ask me anything; I might surprise you with an unexpected slant on something. Seriously, I too am learning to navigate a world that’s changing more rapidly than I can keep up with, but experience taught me that by always doing the next best thing along the way, the journey is more satisfying and often joyful.

You are already wise beyond your years, Sir. My elders warned me some day my body will catch up with my mind. I could only imagine any part of me getting old or feeble. I imagine will happen too soon. Carpe diem, good sir. Carpe diem.
