To The Sweetest Sarah I Know

Shra Froz Princess

Here at Villa Verde we’re celebrating our sweet Sarah this week, the only living member of my family I address by her actual name in this forum. in the Pacific Northwest where she’s a featured artist among several Seaside, Oregon establishments, she’s known as blossoming artist Sarah Louise. Her distinctive, infectious joie de vivre inspires and lifts me from gloomy moments more often than I like to admit.

Shra n Jo 2015 decSarah not only keeps me close, but she and her partner, Joseph Soller visit our family branch at least every year, no matter where we are. Not only so, fellow starving artists, she and Joseph generously gift our household with the joy of their presence, and with their magical artistry. shra jos pool

What I admire most about Sarah is how makes time to walk with me, talk with me. And to help keep me going while she’s away she gave me a Fitbit!

In her generous spirit I am sharing two of their works, certain What’s Next visitors will share the wonder.

February in The Pacific Northwest

Niece, Sarah has blessed our home with her delightful, spirited presence all week. Imagine our delight when she shared Seaside, Oregon’s Gilbert Historical District’s Blog post with us – where she’s a featured artist!

grand-re-opening

“Sarah Louise Boslooper is a 26-year-old artist who loves to create artworks expressing the Pacific Northwest and nature or emotion in strong colors. She primarily works with acrylic or oil pastel on canvas or a mix of burning and painting on wood. She has a ‘hands on’ approach; if the paintbrush isn’t mastering the thought she’s trying to portray, she will literally paint with her fingers. Boslooper’s art can be viewed including the three-piece wave belonging to Seaside Yoga Studio, a commissioned (and completed) beautiful wall of art.”

“The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk, celebrating 12 years in 2016 is all about the arts. Visitors about, meet artists, sip wine or snag appetizers by favorite restaurants or personal chefs, view artist demonstrations, listen to an artist talk or enjoy live performances in music.”

Congratulations, Shra! and Seaside 😉  *
