Frozen Fog

I’d wished the bedraggled flower stems would blow away.

Hours later in the morning light,

Frozen in fog they were breathtaking.

As I marveled I saw frozen breath swirling,

And imagined God laughing with me.

“His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3 (NIV)

  1. Sounds like a fun stroll with the Lord. Yes, I think he enjoys showing off his magnificence sometimes. – I guess he does it a lot for those who care to see.

  3. Love the image of God’s laughter as frozen fog, Roo. (P.S. Still not sure whether to call you Roo or Annie.)

  4. Here in N. Texas, I get the chance to miss Winter. At this point, I go visit, experience, then leave for warm TX. Thank you for the post. Keep up the great work.

    • Yeah, you and BabySis who works in North Richland Hills keep rubbing it in. Killeen, McKinney & Arlington were beautiful, but God still has work for me here. Feel the blessings and pray it forward from there!
