I marveled as DearOldFriend and I walked along the river at Howard Amon Park. Lovely as it was yesterday I could not forget how most of the country groans through historic cold and mudslides. Still, we enjoyed the break in the weather and warmed ourselves in 50 degree sunshine.
I hope you feel warmed too!

Even after freezing traces of autumn hold out for spring.
“For the Lord is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The Lord God of Heaven’s Armies is his name!” Amos 4:13 (NLT)

I’m glad you got some relief, if only for short while. Always nice to have a reminder, spring is coming!

We enjoyed a break in the cold weather, too. Now we’re back in the teens. We’ll appreciate Spring when the time comes.

Friday and Saturday were also great here in New York. A break from the brutal cold. Sadly it has gone back down to the teens. I eagerly await Spring as I have eczema. Literally my skin is coming off. You can see the scars from where I scratched the skin off my arms and chest. Last week my entire body was on fire. I had to take several Benadyrl just to sleep. I’m gonna have to buy some cortisone just to get through the rest of winter. Winter is pure misery for me.

Deb, I feel that pain. Last year was brutal here, as happens here about every ten years. I feel odd being comfortable while so many are freezing and worse. I keep all y’alls in my prayers daily.

Thanks. The itching is horrible. I feel like I’m being poked by hot pokers. Of course I’m scratching so much it looks like I was clawed by a flock of birds.
My skin is peeling. Truly winter is a curse.
